- Supports the execution of strategic partner plans by leading outreach, fostering trust, and proactively strengthening relationships across all stakeholder groups.
- Serves as the primary liaison for partner communication and relationship management.
- Leads meetings, presentations, and outreach events across all partner categories.
- Develops and delivers newsletters, e-publications, and messaging tailored to stakeholder needs.
- Formulates high-quality written and visual content for external audiences.
- Works with the communications team to support social media, press releases, and video content as needed in relation to partner groups.
- Tracks and analyzes engagement data to evaluate communication effectiveness.
- Supports partner storytelling and showcases collaborative success.

The preferred minimum qualifications for this position are:
- A bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, or a specific field
- AND 3 years of experience in government affairs, outreach, news media, lobbying, legislative liaison roles, or a closely related field
- OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
- The schedule for this position may vary and require flexibility, including some early or late shifts, weekends, and occasional overtime, based on the needs of the agency.
- This position may require occasional travel. The employee must be willing and able to perform all job-related travel. State vehicles may be available, but reliable transportation may be required for local travel.
- This position works in a comfortable office setting with a computer for a large percentage of the workday.
- This position requires employees to be able to stand up to eight hours a day and lift 10-50 pounds on a regular basis, with assistance as needed.
