The Service Oklahoma (SOK) mission is to ease the stress in navigating government services by providing a best-in-class customer experience. We are Oklahomans helping Oklahomans by providing driver license and motor vehicle services on behalf of the state.This position has an annual rate of $70,000.
The Service Oklahoma offers a generous benefits package, including a benefits allowance to off-set the costs of medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance plans. The Service Oklahoma will match up to 7% towards an employee’s Defined Contribution retirement plan. Our employees receive 11 paid holidays, 15 days of paid annual leave, which increases with every 5 years of service, and 15 days of paid sick leave. Additionally, employees will receive longevity payments based on their years of service with the State of Oklahoma.
Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Partner Engagement Manager serves as the front-facing lead for building and maintaining positive, proactive relationships with all Service Oklahoma partner groups. This role leads partner communications, events, presentations, and outreach initiatives. It is responsible for crafting strategic messaging, promoting engagement, and building trust across partner relationships. The Engagement Manager also plays a critical role in ensuring partner satisfaction, tracking engagement data, and supporting reputation-building efforts.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

- Supports the execution of strategic partner plans by leading outreach, fostering trust, and proactively strengthening relationships across all stakeholder groups.
- Serves as the primary liaison for partner communication and relationship management.
- Leads meetings, presentations, and outreach events across all partner categories.
- Develops and delivers newsletters, e-publications, and messaging tailored to stakeholder needs.
- Formulates high-quality written and visual content for external audiences.
- Works with the communications team to support social media, press releases, and video content as needed in relation to partner groups.
- Tracks and analyzes engagement data to evaluate communication effectiveness.
- Supports partner storytelling and showcases collaborative success.

- Builds trust and strategic alignment with key external stakeholders.
- Collaborates with the Senior Partnerships Manager and Communications team.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
The preferred minimum qualifications for this position are:
- A bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, or a specific field
- AND 3 years of experience in government affairs, outreach, news media, lobbying, legislative liaison roles, or a closely related field
- OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- The schedule for this position may vary and require flexibility, including some early or late shifts, weekends, and occasional overtime, based on the needs of the agency.
- This position may require occasional travel. The employee must be willing and able to perform all job-related travel. State vehicles may be available, but reliable transportation may be required for local travel.
- This position works in a comfortable office setting with a computer for a large percentage of the workday.
- This position requires employees to be able to stand up to eight hours a day and lift 10-50 pounds on a regular basis, with assistance as needed.
