The Oregon Military Department is a state agency that supports the Oregon National Guard. You are NOT required to be a member of the Oregon National Guard to apply for this position.
The Oregon Military Department is recruiting for an Office Specialist 2. This is a Limited Duration workload only full-time state position. Funding for this position is expected through FY26. This position is located at Camp Rilea in Warrenton, Oregon.
This position is represented by the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees’ (AFSCME) union.

What You Will be Doing
The purpose of this position is to perform administrative duties operating the billeting/housing office at Camp Rilea Armed Forces Training Center. The person in this position politely greets customers, handles customer requests and questions, issues keys and rooms to users, enters reservation data into a computer system which tracks guest usage, handles payments for reservations, and issues and clears federal buildings.

Working Conditions
This job will be conducted primarily in an office environment but will require occasional excursions outdoors and in inclement weather.

May be required to come in to work after-hours to address issues such as a customer locking him or herself out of their rented room.
Must be able to operate a motor vehicle on and off the installation. Must be able to climb stairs and bend to inspect cleanliness of facilities.

What You Need to Qualify
Two (2) years of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding, word processing, or other experience generating documents.

Additional Requirements
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
