What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct Welding Professor position at State of South Carolina?
The Adjunct Welding Professor provides instruction to students enrolled in Corporate and Continuing Education welding weekend classes. Must have a broad knowledge of the welding industry and welding techniques in Stick, MIG, Flux Cored, and TIG welding. Must have excellent classroom management technique, ensuring the readiness of facilities for class activities; teaching classroom; evaluation and reporting of students' progress; assigning and assisting students on class projects; creating and delivering lecture and demonstrations. Opens and closes the welding shop. Submits grades and student performance in a timely manner to the Program Director. Able to work with limited supervision.

This position is located on the Midlands Technical College Airport Campus
Associates degree in Welding or related skilled trade field and three (3) years of experience, or five (5) years of welding industry experience including training or mentoring new employees.
