What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Coordinator position at State of South Carolina?
Under the direction of the Senior Workforce and Special Projects Manager and Vice President for Economic Development, this position will be responsible for providing programmatic, fiscal and administrative support to the SC Nexus Education and Workforce Center (EWC) grant project team. Maintain all fiscal and programmatic documents and electronic records for the SC Nexus EWC grant on behalf of companies and Technical Colleges. Collect, compile and monitor all SC Nexus EWC grant data in the designated Grants Management System. Work in collaboration with South Carolina Technical College System (SCTCS) staff, Technical College staff, and community stakeholders to collect necessary and required information. Assist the Grant Administrator with facilitating the grant Employer Collaborative through coordination of meetings, stakeholder management, and project management of meeting outcomes as needed. Assist the Grant Administrator in performing on-site and desktop monitoring of grant fund recipients and ensuring that compliance by grant fund recipients is upheld throughout the life of the grant.
A high school diploma and relevant experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services or a bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required work experience.
Knowledgeable of institutional guidelines and state and local policies related to all aspects of the position. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing with all levels of staff and management. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to effectively plan and organize multiple priorities and tasks with prescribed schedules and goals. Attention to detail in carrying out roles and responsibilities.
