This position is located at Department of Mental Health/Columbia Area Mental Health, Fairfield County Clinic, Winnsboro, SC, #122.
Under general supervision, provides administrative support to the clinicians and staff of the Fairfield Mental Health Clinic. Primary responsibility for oversight of the buildings on the Fairfield Campus; ensures buildings are in good repair and common areas are neat, clean, and welcoming. Orders supplies (building supplies, office supplies, snacks and water, etc.) as needed. Coordinates delivery of mail to and from the campus programs.
Maintains responsibility for ensuring payments are collected by patients in accordance with SCDMH/CAMHC policies. Works with program manager to ensure patients who have outstanding balances have a plan for addressing their debt.
Maintains responsibility for scheduling; ensures that provider schedules are accurate and kept up to date and that aftercare appointments are scheduled in accordance with CAMHC/SCDMH policy. Ensures that Medicaid transportation is scheduled for those patients who require transportation in order to attend appointment.
Responds to telephone messages, emails, teams' messages, and inter-office mail.
State Requirements: A high school diploma. Related clerical experience may be substituted for a high school diploma.CAMHC Prefers: An associate degree in secretarial science and extensive knowledge of office policies, practices and procedures.Supplemental questions are considered part of the application.
