The agency is seeking an attorney to join the Office of General Counsel and support the program responsible for the award, administration, and oversight of State government contracts. Contracting areas include information technology, complex services, supplies and construction. Law practice areas include public contract, administrative, general government, public records and open meetings, construction, general contract and information technology, prior experience in these areas is not necessary. This position offers a stimulating practice in a collegial environment, employment stability and a benefits package associated with state government employment. A juris doctor or its equivalent from an accredited law school and at least two years of experience as a practicing attorney. Prior to employment, applicant must be a member in good standing with the South Carolina Bar Association.
