Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the HVAC Supervisor, the Controls Technician installs, maintains, calibrates, and tests controls, systems and related equipment for the university's energy management, fire and computer maintenance systems.
- Troubleshoots, repairs and replaces defective components.
- Sets schedules of operation for systems during campus operation and closings.
- Calibrates devices to ensure maximum energy efficiency of all heating and cooling systems.
- Assists HVAC-Refrigeration department with troubleshooting and repairs.
- Performs testing and repairs on campus fire alarm system.
