Individuals selected for positions with the South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation Department's Disability Determination Service (DDS) will go through a complete federal background investigation. A suitability determination by the Social Security Administration is necessary to determine whether an employee can be issued credentials in order to have access to Social Security disability data, records, and systems.

- You will review and evaluate evidence pertaining to physical impairments, complete determinations of impairment severity and residual functional capacity in compliance with productivity and quality standards.
- You will complete documents pertaining to medical severity rating of physical impairments in accordance with Social Security Administration (SSA) policy and in adherence to agency standards for quality.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing and 4 years clinical experience or Associate Degree in Nursing and 6 years of clinical experience with the approval of State HR.
- You must complete full training in SSA policies and procedures administered by Disability Determination Services.

- Master’s degrees in nursing and 2 years clinical experience.

Salary : $46,655 - $86,321
