In this position, the Food Service Specialist III will:
- Assists in the preparation and serving of all meals
- Weighs and measures ingredients to make sure that required amounts of food are prepared
- Serves portions of food that meet the nutritional requirements of the National School Food Service (NSFS) Program
- Cleans assigned section in the food service area to meet guidelines and standards set by DHEC
- Operates the following:
- Mixer
- Can opener
- Meat slicer
- Dishwashing machines and ovens
- Ability to follow instructions, effectively communicate orally and in writing
- Ability to work with others
- Knowledge of safety practices relevant to that area of employment
- May require evenings and/or weekends
- May require employee to work during emergency situations.
- May require standing, bending, squatting, reaching, twisting, pushing, and pulling.
Salary : $27,510 - $50,905
