The Grants Coordinator supports Spartanburg Community College by ensuring effective management of grant-funded projects through post-award compliance, performance monitoring, and adherence to funding agency requirements. This role facilitates accurate tracking of expenditures, timely reporting, and proper documentation while collaborating with faculty, staff, and external partners to maximize the impact of awarded grants and advance the college's mission.
- Grant Performance and Compliance Monitoring (Post-Award) – Ensure grant-funded projects comply with funding agency guidelines, monitor expenditures, track deliverables, and assist faculty with reporting requirements.
- Grant Tracking and Management Systems – Maintain and update grant management systems to track submissions, awards, compliance status, and reporting deadlines. Ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation.
- Grant Development Support and Budget Coordination – Assist with tracking financial expenditures for grant-funded projects, ensuring alignment with approved budgets and compliance regulations.
- Professional Development and Workshop Assistance – Participate in training to stay current on grant regulations and provide assistance with workshops on grant-related compliance and processes.Bachelor’s degree and business, personnel, grant-in-aid, or public administration work experience.
