What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Security Specialist II position at State of South Carolina?
Perform tasks and execute procedures to secure IT systems and data resources. Develop processes and routines to deploy security tools, services, and solutions in support of college business objectives. Provide guidance on the use, selection, and training of cybersecurity hardware and software systems. Collaborate with external agencies and partners on cybersecurity initiatives and information sharing.
A bachelor’s degree in information technology systems, computer science, or a related field and experience in the information technology field to include experience in a security-focused role.
