This position is at Department of Mental Health/Columbia Area Mental Health Center, CAF Metropolitan Child Advocacy Center (Met CAC), CAMHC #089.
Under limited supervision, conducts forensic interviews and evaluations of children suspected of maltreatment in conjunction with Met CAC multidisciplinary team and provides court testimony for Richland County, as needed.
Collects, organizes, and records data and information in each patient's medical records according to quality assurance standards, CARF guidelines, and corporate compliance standards.
Provides training to interns, trainees, and community partners in areas relevant to child abuse and forensic interviewing. Attends and participates in Richland County MDT meetings. Attends and participates in formal and informal peer review in accordance with NCA standards.
State Requirements: A master's degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field and professional experience in a mental health or social service program.
Licensed or eligible for licensure as LISW, LPC, LMFT, etc.
Agency Prefers:
A master's degree in guidance, counseling or the social sciences and two (2) years or more of post graduate counseling experience of which must have been in a clinical setting. Licensure preferred.
