We are seeking an energetic Program Coordinator to join our Academics team. - Assist in the development, implementation, and administration of post graduate programs, such as colleges, military and employment. Also, provide an array of career development resources for students after graduation.
- Making presentations; maintaining rapport
- Coordinate and schedule graduate courses and seminars.
- Promotes and Represents the school at Public Relations events, Promotional Opportunities, Marketing Campaigns, Business and Committee Meetings, and other public functions as assigned.
- Provide information and advice to prospective and current students about after school program requirements, financial aid options and employment.
- Seek out and attend job fairs and create opportunities for sourcing.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress after achieving GED. Also maintain South Carolina Occupational Information System (SCOIS) records for future references.
- Facilitate communication between students and prospective employers, colleges or military.
- Organize and execute special events and workshops related to graduate programs such as Empowered to WIN and GCDF Career Sessions with Lexington Two.
- Organize and plan graduation ceremonies, including logistics, scheduling and coordination with vendors.
- Monitor academic progression of students, facilitate workshops, arrange advising appointments, and assist students with registration and course scheduling.
- Comply with all operational standards and Wil Lou Gray Opportunity School Rules and Regulations.
- Develops hands-on recruiting strategies; interview and selecting qualified candidates
- Evaluates candidate’s education, skills acquired, and qualifications to be successful in our program
- Troubleshoots, resolves and addresses clients’ concerns and/or complaints
- Delivering top-notch customer service to candidates, parents, and client companies
- Conducting orientation and on-boarding
- Demonstrating the agency's core values, operating principles, and service differentiators
- Other assigned duties as needed
Bachelor’s degree or an Associate's degree with 3 years of experience in an administrative, recruitment, and/or educational environment.
- Demonstrated ability to independently work under aggressive timelines while managing multiple projects in parallel
- Professional appearance
- Patience and ability to work with people from all socio-economic backgrounds
- Microsoft Office
- Must have excellent communication and computer skills.
