What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Coordinator position at State of South Carolina?
The Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating programmatic and project support for the Economic Development Division through the delivery of readySCTM, retrainSC and other special projects across the state of South Carolina. Provide support to the Senior Management of the Division of Economic Development by conducting activities related to specialized work processes and reporting requirements. Ensure the delivery of program and project activities and special initiatives are completed efficiently and effectively. Additionally, provide program support for the development and delivery of the readySCTM and restrainSC projects assisting with developing all of the documents related to the definition, execution, and management of the project scope of work, schedules, training plans, budgets, change orders, reports, charts, graphs, etc. Support the Operations Management of the division in coordinating, planning, and other logistics for meetings with prospects, customers, partners, and stakeholders. Responsible for entering and maintaining data in the information systems such as Trainee Data System (TDS), Salesforce, JobAps, Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), and SharePoint (TWeb). Coordinate activities with training partners such as South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce (SCDEW), SCWorks, Colleges, Project Staff, Vendor and 3rd Party providers.
A high school diploma and relevant program experience.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Power point is preferred. Must be organized, detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task. Establish and maintain a working relationship with the public, agency personnel and business contacts; ability to communicate effectively and efficiently orally and in writing; ability to exercise judgment and discretion in applying and interpreting laws, policies and procedures pertaining to the assigned programs area.
