This position will work directly with the Office of Statewide Workforce Development (OSWD), Department of Employment and Workforce, and Coordinating Council for Workforce Development (CCWD), oversee and support the day-to-day operations of 12 Regional Workforce Advisors across the state to meet the requirements of the Unified State Plan for Education and Workforce Development (USP). Integrate RWA activities with Employment Services activities for seamless services for the state.Bachelor’s degree and relevant training and experience; OR any equivalent combination of education, relevant training and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the position and at least one (1) year of management experience.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to cultivate positive and collaborative working relationships with individuals at all levels of this organization as well as education and business organizations within South Carolina. Ability to interact effectively with a diverse population. Demonstrated experience in managing multiple complex programs and events simultaneously, including managing the roles of various participants in projects, setting schedules and meeting deadlines without supervision.Supplemental questions are considered part of your official application.
