What are the responsibilities and job description for the TEMP - Domestic Violence Agent #24-096 Re-announced position at State of South Carolina?
*Part-time not to exceed 30 hours per week
Under the general supervision of the Domestic Violence (DV) Supervisor, the Temporary DV Agent will assist in monitoring of domestic DV caseloads (e.g.; telephone progress audits, intakes); Prepare for and present cases at administrative hearings and court; perform office duties; participate in trainings and maintain all requirements for DV certification.
A bachelor's degree with at least 15 semester hours in social or behavioral science courses; An associate’s degree and two (2) years of military or law enforcement experience may be substituted; or a high school diploma and four (4) years of military or law enforcement experience may be substituted. At least one year of work experience in probation and parole work or 3 years of work experience in law enforcement. Certification by the Law Enforcement Training Council in accordance with 23-23-40 of the Code of Laws of South Carolina 1976.
