Under the direction of the Park Manager, the Intern will complete duties associated with being a Museum Director. Duties include but not limited to working with campground hosts, campground attendants, volunteers, and the public in creation of museum displays, research, educational programs, large event management, artifact maintenance and restoration, building maintenance and restoration. Other duties will be customer service such as but not limited too: events, guided tours, classes, and checking in and out of the POS system. This job will require interaction with the public during private and public events, candidate must be able to work as a team and also on their own.
Qualifications
Applicant must be enrolled as a part-time/full-time student at a college, university, or technical institute at the time they apply. By the start of the internship, the student should have completed one year (nine months) of their chosen program.
All students are encouraged to apply, but preference may be given to applicants with a standing of junior/senior, South Dakota residents, and students of South Dakota institutions.

- APPLICANT MUST BE A CURRENT PART-TIME OR FULL-TIME STUDENT (MINIMUM OF 6 CREDIT HOURS) IN UPCOMING SEMESTER OR IN THE IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING SEMESTER.
