The Administrative Assistant III performs complex (journey-level) work that involves disseminating information, maintaining filing systems and performing internal administrative support work. May provide guidance to others. Works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

YOU WILL BE TRUSTED TO
- Prepare and disseminate information concerning agency programs and services.
- Review forms for accuracy with an acute attention to detail
- Prepare, edit, and distribute correspondence, reports, studies, forms, and documents.
- Answer phones and professionally respond to email inquiries
- Interpret rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Enter data in data bases and spreadsheets.
- Proof, review, and prepare various documents for processing or mailing
- Perform other related work as assigned.
- Experience as an Administrative Assistant experience for two years.
- Experience with Windows-based PC programs, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Experience with writing, emailing, and sending correspondence.
- Experience with data entry.
- Detail oriented to quality check documents.
- Ability to interact effectively, cooperate and collaborate with others in a team environment, multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Two years of full-time experience that provided knowledge of administrative support functions and office practices and procedures, or clerical administration and business management practices, such as preparation, maintenance, and control of forms, records and reports.
- Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications for this position.
