Among other responsibilities, some duties you will carry out are:
Minimum Qualifications:- Giving direct and indirect care with the goal of enhancing patient health.
- Organize clinical follow-ups and activities.
- Performs physical examinations and/or preventive health measures to assess and evaluate patient's clinical problems and health care needs.
- Maintains and updates patient charts, records, and information.
- Provides medical consultation in specialized areas of knowledge.
- Provides clients with information concerning rights, options, benefits, services, goals and expectations.
- Licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state of Utah
- You must successfully pass a criminal history check.
- Risks which require the use of special safety precautions and/or equipment, e.g., working around operating machines, working with contagious diseases or hazardous chemicals, etc.
- Work requires physical exertion. May require the ability to stand; walk over rough surfaces; bend, crouch, stoop, stretch, reach, lift moderately heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) in a recurring manner and/or for long periods of time.
- Risks found in potentially dangerous or unusual environmental stress situations, e.g. being subject to possible physical attack, etc.)
- Utah State Hospital is a non smoking campus.
- Preference may be given to applicants who are either currently working at the hospital or who have had prior clinical experience at the Utah State Hospital.
Salary : $32 - $38
