As the Support Services Coordinator III you may perform a variety of support services such as coordinating work related programs for Offender Accounting, training and auditing of elated programs, inventory control, budgeting, leases, and other related administrative functions. Will coordinate office management services and makes recommendations for
solutions of administrative problems. In this position, you may supervise subordinate Support Services Coordinators, clerical or other support staff. At this level you generally operate at a bureau/division level and, as such, the work is moderately complex. You may analyze actual expenditures and expenditure patterns and prepares materials to support
appropriation requests; Defends or assists in the defense of the agency appropriation request. You also may prepare budget needs and annual reports of organizations.

Listed below are some additional duties that this position will entail:
- Coordinates work related programs for CommunityCorrectional Center Accounting.
- Will supervise subordinate clerical or other support staff
- Act as a liaison between the department/division and the human resource field office to coordinate efforts that may
include: personnel action requests, recruitment's, terminations, reports, payroll, etc. - Manages accounting or budget activities and provides fiscal information.
- Monitors agency or program budget including revenues, expenditures and budget projection, etc.
- Generates and monitors work orders, service contracts, etc.
- Reviews customer billings for accuracy; approves changes or refunds; reviews and approves vendor billings; reviews
and approves payables. - Obtains, documents, and tabulates quotes on items covered by existing contracts. Writes, reviews, and/or negotiates grants, contracts and/or agreements.
- Coordinates an inventory management system to effectively control and distribute supplies and equipment.
- Coordinates and/or manages support services such as: telecommunications, motor pool, physical security, facility
and grounds, mail processing, equipment relocation, warehouse storage, etc. - Acts as a resource within the region/department to provide information and may include the coordination efforts inone
or more of the following areas: regional events, worker's compensation, notary program.
- procurement and/or administration of contracts, grants, loans, or similar agreements.
- ensure compliance with contract terms, policies and procedures, etc.
- fiscal/financial management.
- prepare financial reports and documentation.
- document accounts receivables and/or payables.
- principles, theories, and practices of business administration including accounting, human and material resource
- management in organizations, sales and marketing, economics, and office information and organizing systems.
- principles, theories, and practices inventory control.
- payroll processes and procedures.
- deal with people in a manner which shows SPARK (Service, Professionalism, Accountability, Respect, and Knowledge)
- communicate information and ideas clearly, and concisely, in writing; read and understand information presented in
writing.
- Risks found in the typical office setting, which is adequately lighted, heated and ventilated, e.g., safe use of office equipment, avoiding trips and falls, observing fire regulations, etc.
- Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work; however, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying light items; driving an automobile, etc. Special physical demands are not required to perform the work.
- Salary ranges specified reflect a minimum starting and top-of-range dollar amount. The actual rate per hour will be determined by the evaluation of qualifications and skills of the individual and the availability of monies through budget and grants or by following DHRM rule.
