Our services provide comprehensive assessments and detailed recommendations to the respective treatment teams. These will include specific psychopharmacologic, medical, behavioral, and other evidence-based interventions and the relevant staff education and training to facilitate their implementations. Our staff members provide direct care, specialized services, and evidence-based individual/group therapies to adults with severe psychiatric conditions.

6:30 pm- 7:00 am 12 hour shift

Week 1: Sun, Mon, Wed and Thurs
Week 2: Mon, Tue, Fri and Sat
6:30 pm- 7:00 am 12 hour shift

Week 1: Mon, Tue, Fri and Sat
Week 2: Sun, Mon, Wed and Thurs
2:00pm- 10:30 pm 8 hour shift
Days off Sunday and Monday
Some of what you will do
Who should apply
LPNs with a current Washington State license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Preferred skills and knowledge
CPR Certified
Proven ability to discern and apply practical nursing principles and concepts
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to perform and interpret basic physical and treatment techniques
Detailed-oriented reporting and ability to relay clear, accurate information
Please note
King County employees receive 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary and are eligible to receive a free ORCA card for transportation use. Evening and Night shifts include a shift differential in addition to the standard compensation rate. Opportunities performed on-site at this work location at least three days a week may be eligible for an additional 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary.

Some of what you will do
- Administer medications and provide treatments
- Complete routine treatments
- Attend to the general care of patients and residents, provide emotional and physical comfort and safety, and maintain an attractive and comfortable environment
- Participate in and lead education programs and ward-initiated activities for the patients
- Care for patients/residents with communicable diseases including necessary sterilization and observation of aseptic techniques
- Observe, record, and report the general condition of patients/residents
- Participate in providing a therapeutic environment through acceptance of patients' and residents' behavior, and guidance toward more rational behavior
