Job Status- Full-Time - Permanent WDFW Program- Financial Services Program
Duty Station- Olympia, Washington – Thurston County
Hybrid / Telework- Requirement of 40% in-person with an allowance of 60% telework as determined after initial onboarding and training.
Salary- Depending on which level you are hired at, your salary range will be as follows :
Fiscal Analyst 1- $3,477.00 - $4,632.00 monthly
Fiscal Analyst 2- $3,811.00 - $5,117.00 monthly
Fiscal Analyst 3- $4,410.00 - $5,929.00 monthly
This senior accounting role executes a range of complex, time sensitive financial duties that have a far-reaching impact on all WDFW programs and staff across the state.
Independently ensure accurate invoicing and reconciliation of receivable contracts in compliance with GAAP, SAAM, and regulatory requirements.
As a subject matter expert on assigned grants, this position also plays a key role in interpreting contract language, addressing financial concerns, and providing clear guidance to all levels of management.
What to Expect-
The Fiscal Analyst 3 will :
Contract Management :
Collaborate with Contractors, Agency Program Managers, Budget, and Contract Staff to resolve contract and grant discrepancies and / or errors :
Monthly Reconcile Project Revenue & Expenditures :
Working Conditions :
Work Setting, including hazards : Requirement of 40% in-person with an allowance of 60% telework as determined after initial onboarding and training. Position is in an office setting with typical office hazards that include sitting or standing for long periods at a time at a desk working on a computer and performing repetitive tasks and working under fluorescent light.
Schedule : Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week. Leave approvals may be limited during peak workload periods.
Travel Requirements : Minimal travel required.

This Fiscal Analyst 3 series provides mentoring and career development opportunities for candidates with limited experience. Candidates will be hired as a Fiscal Analyst 1, 2, or 3 dependent on skills and experience.
