The Property Management Division (PMD) is responsible for providing comprehensive facilities management through the capital and operating budget process. The Property Management Division falls within the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Bureau and consists of three sections, the Facilities Section, the Fleet Section, and the Supply Section.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This position provides critical support to the mission of the organization by installing and maintaining equipment that enhances the operational abilities of the agency. The installation of safety equipment reduces the risk to Field Operations personnel while performing public safety services.This position installs and removes radio communications, electronic equipment, mobile data systems, mobile video systems, emergency lighting systems, and other related safety equipment used in Washington State Patrol vehicles. Our new teammate will be able to: Install and remove two-way radio communication systems, mobile data systems, speed measuring devices, mobile video systems, microprocessor controlled sirens, emergency lighting, signaling equipment, vehicle identification markings, and prisoner restraint partitionsPerform critical alignmentComplete operational testing, programming, and initial troubleshooting of malfunctioning VHF two-way radio communication systemsAct in a quality control capacity to ensure outfitted vehicles are in compliance with Federal Communications Commission regulationsWork independently using detailed plansInteract with supervisor, customers and vendors to schedule and perform work
