Salary: $38,468 annually

General Job Summary
Provides administrative office support for the Division of Financial Aid staff, processes and tracks invoices and closing statements for all the financial aid programs.
Duties And Responsibilities
Prepares, processed and tracks invoices and closing statements for all financial aid programs.
Provides information, instruction and assistance to students, parents, high school counselors, and institutional financial aid staff which may require travel.
Provides assistance and information for other student financial aid programs, answers multi-line telephone system, processes mail, prepares correspondence and related written materials.
Communicate with students regarding the WV Invests residency requirement.
Reviews documents that are submitted and prepares them for processing.
Assists in processing deferments and updates student account information in Heartland ECSI.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Office Administration, Business, Accounting, or a related field and over two years recent relevant experience in general accounting, bookkeeping, and/or administrative support are required.
Familiarity with student financial aid processes is strongly preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proven proficiency in bookkeeping, accounting practices and accounts payable processing.
Proficiency using Microsoft Office Products.
Excellent organizational skills.
