Nature of Work
Serves as a Lead-worker maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the facility. Accountability of storage, ordering and distribution of supply inventories. Oversee the work of residents or others assigned to perform custodial duties. Dusts chairs, tables, and other furniture or equipment, washes windows, walls and woodwork. Sweep, vacuum, mop, and wax floors, and gathers/dispose of trash. Keeps bathrooms clean and supplied with hand towels and toilet tissue. Maintains a record of paper and cleaning supplies, inventory, and re-ordering as necessary. Knowledge of the methods, supplies and equipment that are used to clean offices, kitchen equipment and living areas. Knowledge of disinfecting areas for compliance to health and safety standards. Ensures that the scheduled housekeeping and sanitation plan guideline is adhered to. Serves as the front line safety liaison to assist in making sure the facility is in safety compliance. Ensure facility MSDS books are in designated areas and kept up to date. Ensure proper training and guidance is provided for residents and subordinate employees. And other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Training: Graduation from high school or equivalent.
Experience: Four years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in the area of assignment, one year of which must have been in a lead worker capacity.
