Type: Full-Time Temporary
Location: Charleston, WV
Travel: Limited, approximately 1 - 2 days per week
Salary: $25/hrAbout the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced professional to join our team as a temporary Investigator. If you have a passion for justice, a keen eye for detail, and knowledge in dealing with discrimination and harassment investigations, this position is for you. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of your cases, work independently after receiving comprehensive training, and make a tangible impact in the workplace through your investigations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth investigations into allegations of federal and state code violations, administrative rule, and/or statutes.
- Manage a caseload, ensuring investigations are completed within a 90-working-daytimeframe.
- Collect, document, and analyze evidence, maintaining accurate investigative files.
- Compile final case reports that outline your findings in a clear, concise manner.
- Work independently to resolve personnel complaints related to workplace discrimination or harassment.
- Respond to Safe Space Program inquiries and oversee the tracking and monitoring of all incoming investigations.
- Primarily focus on Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Hostile Work Environment investigations.
