Nature of Work
Under general supervision, performs work at the beginning level, in investigating, counseling, and providing continuous supervision for adult probationers or parolees to assist in their social and personal adjustment. Work involves close contact with potentially dangerous offenders with criminal backgrounds. Performs related work as required. This position will be working from the Parkersburg parole office. This involves completing all assignments to include but not limited to home plan investigation and other investigative reports, clemency reports, co-operative investigations for other states, post-sentence reports for the Parole Board and other corrections facilities and violation reports in the region. Other duties as assigned.
This position will be working from the Parkersburg Office with counties of supervision being Wood, Wirt, Calhoun, Gilmer, Ritchie, Pleasants, Ohio, Wetzel, Tyler, Hancock, Brooke and Marshall.
