Position Summary
This is a specialist level position responsible for auditing multi-state corporations for income and franchise taxes. Conduct audits that involve the most complex issues and work with taxpayers to resolve complex or disputed audit issues.
- Examine the books and records of corporations to determine the correct tax liability.
- Prepare electronic workpapers and reports setting forth adjustments to reflect the required correct tax liability

Salary Information
Starting salary will be between $42.00 and $51.85 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, plus benefits.
Sign-on bonus of $3000 for eligible new hires .
For current State employees, pay on hire will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin Compensation Plan.

Job Details

Travel : This position requires occasional travel with some overnight stays. A valid driver’s license and ability to use a personal vehicle for travel is required. Reimbursement of travel expenses is available per travel guidelines.
