Introduction
The Department of Health Services (DHS) , Central Wisconsin Center (CWC) is recruiting for 1 AM shift and 3 PM shift Center Wide Floating Certified Nursing assistants (CNAs). CWC provides short-term and long-term residential services to assist people living with intellectual disabilities in acquiring the personal skills needed to reach their highest potential. CWC is located at 317 Knutson Drive on the north side of Madison.

The AM full time position will work 6 : 00 am - 2 : 30 pm, and the PM full-time positions will work 2 : 00 pm - 10 : 30 pm. This recruitment may be used to fill future vacancies on any shift . We offer a team-oriented atmosphere and a focus on work-life balance.
Position Summary
As a Center Wide Float CNA, you will be responsible for working in various CWC residential Living Units, (including our two short term units) while performing appropriate CNA tasks and providing care for residents throughout the facility. In addition, you will :

These positions are classified as Resident Care Technician - Advanced. Starting pay is between $26.42 and $29.73 / hour based on state seniority. Additional increases are based on years of service in the chart below.

Job Details
All applicants who may be appointed to this position will be required to allow DHS to conduct a background check to determine whether the circumstances of any conviction may be related to the job being filled.
All appointees will be required to receive a TB test, which will be administered by CWC or medical personnel approved by the facility prior to their start date.
DHS does not sponsor work visas for this position, thus, in compliance with federal law, selected candidates will be required to verify eligibility to work in the United States by completing the required I-9 form upon hire.
