Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless patient experience by managing various administrative tasks related to patient care.
Duties
- Checking patients in upon arrival
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, taking new patient information, addressing inquiries and providing information regarding services.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to optimize clinic efficiency.
- Maintain and update patient records, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure accurate documentation and coding of diagnoses and procedures.
- Process insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims to facilitate timely reimbursement.
- Utilize knowledge of dental terminology to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Support the overall operations of the dental office by performing additional administrative tasks as needed.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dental treatment rooms and dental assisting during procedures as needed.
Experience
Candidates should possess a background in dental office administration and ideally have experience dental assisting. Familiarity with dental records management and ability to breakdown/setup dental treatment rooms and assist as needed is highly desired. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
