Salary Range
$120,000 - $187,500 Annual

As Software Engineering & Development - VP, you will
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
- Data modeling: Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
- Knowledge acquisition; develop and maintain expert domain knowledge, rules, methodologies, ontologies.
- Solution implementation leadership; recommend suitable innovative, technological, and logistical solutions.
- Requirement documentation; agile stories, functional specs, process flow visualizations, data process modeling change control.
- Data analysis; data mapping, definition, quality controls, etc.
- Design, implement and maintain large-scale data pipelines using Python, Databricks
- Provisioning, developing, maintaining and tuning Amazon Oracle RDS
- Test execution support; test case review, defect triage, etc.
- Implementation documentation; SOPs, user guides.
These skills will help you succeed in this role
- Minimum of 10 years with expertise in designing and maintaining large-scale data pipelines
- Strong proficiency in building and maintaining stored procedures, triggers and functions in Oracle DB
- Strong proficiency in Python and Databricks (AWS) in production environment
- Strong understanding of Security framework on-prem and in cloud
- Strong proficiency in using DMS to sync data from RDS to Databricks
- Excellent understanding of Big Data technologies, primarily Spark
- Strong understanding of Data Architecture and modelling concepts
- Highly knowledgeable about data warehousing principles and practices
