/Duties
Assist the instructor as needed during swim instruction and drills by providing feedback to PED 189 students, also providing stroke correction and supplementary instruction.
Demonstrate skills and provide teaching episodes for aquatic skills under the direction and supervision of the instructor.
Provide one of three one-hour supplemental sessions during regularly scheduled open swim hours to assist PED 189 students in their aquatic skills development and to aid the students in preparing for the 300-yard swim exit competency.

Days/Hours Needed
There are two sections:
PED 189-602: 9:10 to 10:00 am on Mondays and Wednesdays
PED 189-601: 10:20 am-11:10 am on Mondays and Wednesdays
Approximately 3-8 hours a week

Required Qualifications
It is important that this person have a swimming background, has a water safety instructor certificate or lifeguard training. Must be a SUNY Cortland student.
