The State Water Resources Control Board's (SWRCB) Division of Administrative Services has an opening for a Staff Services Manager I in the Human Resources Branch, Transactions Unit. This position is located at 1001 I Street, 18th floor, Sacramento, in the heart of downtown near public transportation, great restaurants, and more.

Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager II and consistent with good customer service practices this position is responsible for providing technical expertise to management and staff involved in complex personnel related issues. The position functions as a personnel expert and is involved in developing, revising, and recommending personnel program policy and procedure. The position has full supervisory responsibility for subordinate staff.

Salary information – CalHR salary rules allow appointment at the entrance rate (Cal. Code Regs., tit. 2, § 599.673) of a classification. For classes with alternate ranges, placement is based on education/experience.
