SUMMARY :
The Operations lead will assist in overseeing retail dispensary operations which includes delivery, inventory, and sales operations for the retail cannabis dispensary.
The Operations lead will assist in ensuring efficient and compliance operations and our delivery services, inventory systems, and sales activities maintain accuracy and integrity in line with state regulations and company standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES (the list is not all inclusive)
- Ensures inventory accuracy and integrity by maintaining and updating inventory logs and digital tracking documents.
- Leads all cycle counts and end-of-year physical audits and adjusts inventory levels when discrepancies are identified.
- Investigates inventory discrepancies and creates action plans to prevent future variances.
- Supports digital menu inventory accuracy and fulfillment of guests’ orders.
- Maintains high customer satisfaction through efficient best sales and delivery best practices.
- Maintains an up-to-date understanding of market trends and customer preferences.
- Collaborates with marketing and merchandising teams to optimize product displays and promotions.
- Assists in developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue and growth.
- Performs store opening and closing procedures, including completing and reviewing AM / PM checklists and all applicable logs.
- Leads by example in delivering exceptional customer service.
- Assists in retail scheduling and delivery route optimization.
- Handles complex customer inquiries and complaints, escalating issues when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all city and state regulations related to cannabis sales and delivery.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
- Frequently : Walking, standing, grasping / gripping, bending / stooping / squatting, finger dexterity, POS input, coordination of hand and eye.

- Occasionally : Reaching above shoulder height, lifting 50 lbs., ability to do push / pull motions, with accommodations upon request.
- Will require working varied hours / day, including nights weekends, holidays, and / or events on occasion
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior retail or customer service experience (1-3 years)
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, with advanced knowledge in Excel
- Must be 21 years old and pass a criminal background check requirement
