This role involves maintaining networks, Microsoft 365 services, and endpoint systems, ensuring performance, security compliance, and minimal downtime. Key responsibilities include providing technical support, managing IT projects, and contributing to strategic IT planning. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, customer service expertise, and a commitment to improving IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, networks, and Microsoft services, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Microsoft Defender.
- Assist in IT infrastructure projects, including the setup, configuration, and migration of IT systems, including firewalls, routers, switches, and APs.
- Perform routine system monitoring and backups to ensure optimal system performance and security.
- Perform regular system audits and ensure compliance with corporate security standards and industry regulations.
- Utilize RMM tool (Action1) to deploy updates and patch vulnerabilities.
- Manage user and group provisioning, permissions, and licenses across the M365 environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to M365 applications and services, including email delivery, SharePoint access, Teams functionality, and OneDrive synchronization.
- Install, configure, maintain, and monitor Windows and MacOS-based computer systems.
- Provide support for hardware, software, and network-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Provide training and support to end users regarding Microsoft 365 tools, ensuring maximum adoption and productivity.
- Create and maintain support documentation, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides to empower users and improve resolution times.
- Utilize ticketing system (HaloITSM) to track, prioritize, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Participate in strategic IT planning and offer insights to improve operational efficiencies and scalability.
- 5 years of IT experience, including system administration and technical support roles.
- Demonstrated expertise in supporting enterprise IT systems and network infrastructure.
- Thorough knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching).
- Experience supporting M365 applications and services.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and move into positions either standing or kneeling that require connecting computing equipment up for use.
- Ability to work onsite at our HQ in Philadelphia.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
- IT training and certifications, including, but not limited to; Military IT training, Security , and CCNA.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, and/or work experience.
- Experience with MDM and RMM tools such as Intune and Action1.
- Experience with Cisco/Fortinet firewalls, routers, switches and APs.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools, such as PowerShell or Python, to streamline IT operations and enhance system performance.
- Military experience is a plus.
- Estimated Base Salary Range: $70,000-$85,000 USD.
- Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, and qualifications.
- The salary range refers to base salary only and is not inclusive of the total compensation package.
