Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a lively environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing bar operations, and ensuring a memorable experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Engage with customers, taking drink orders and providing recommendations based on preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Adhere to all food safety and handling regulations to ensure compliance with health standards.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for order processing and payment transactions.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods, especially during events or catering functions.
- Stay informed about new drink trends, ingredients, and techniques to enhance the bar menu offerings.
Requirements
- Previous bartending experience in a nightclub or fine dining setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements.
- Familiarity with brewing techniques is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be at least 21 years of age as per legal requirements for serving alcohol.
