Physician Opportunities in Emergency Medicine
We are seeking board certified physicians to join our emergency medicine team at MercyOne Oelwein Medical Center, a 25-bed critical access hospital located in Oelwein, Iowa.
Position Details
- Annual ED Volume: 3,734 patients
- Average Daily Volume: Weekday: 8; Weekend: 20
- Critical Access Hospital; Level IV trauma center
- Single physician coverage
- EMR: Cerner
- Shifts: 7a-7p, 7p-7a; maximum of 48 hours per week
- Independent contractor status (1099)
Qualifications and Requirements
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
- ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Previous emergency medicine experience required
