Purpose:
Under the supervision and direction of the Program Manager-Family Services, the Family Support Worker (FSW) provides support and technical assistance to specific locations and their direct service staff in the content areas of family partnerships and engagement, community resources and collaborations, support service delivery, training and mentoring, monitoring and reporting, and providing best practices in working with families.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Family and/or Human Services, Social Work, or closely related degree.
- National Family Support Certification (required to obtain with the assistance of agency post-hire)
- No prior experience is necessary.
- Prefer two years of professional-level experience in specialty areas preferably in a social/family service environment. Leadership (coaching, mentoring, and training) experience is also preferred.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suites & Database system
- Valid Iowa Drivers License & ability to be insured under agency policy
- Must be cleared & allowed to work in a childcare setting by the Iowa Department of Human Services
