The Staunton Public Library is accepting applications for a year-round evening Library Page vacancy. Pages perform a variety of tasks including shelving materials, emptying the outdoor book drops, cleaning and straightening in the library, and helping to maintain tidy, organized, and welcoming collections. This position requires the ability to follow verbal and written directions and file both alphabetically and numerically with speed and accuracy. Candidates must be customer-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work without direct supervision. The position requires bending, standing, stretching, squatting, and kneeling for up to three hours per day.
The Page position averages ten hours per week : two and a half hours each Monday - Thursday evening and a rotating two-hour Saturday shift.
Hourly wages start at $14.08 / hour with annual paid holidays plus two personal holidays; no health or retirement benefits. Please submit a City of Staunton employment application including at least two references online at
