Description
The Senior Vice President, Business Transformations will lead a strong team of Program Managers, Business Analysts and System Administrators in driving the business forward by providing program leadership on long-term, strategic initiatives that are cross-departmental and involve major investment. In addition, the Business Transformations team helps scale and mature the business by driving programs that will provide operational efficiency, improved CX, and/or improved employee experience.
The scope of Business Transformations is broad, cross functional and throughout all levels of the organization. This includes helping define priority opportunities with a high level of organizational impact within manageable levels of investment that generate an optimal return on investment.
The SVP will be responsible for developing comprehensive standardized processes that drive transparency and increase operational capabilities. This position will work directly with senior leaders to deliver projects and systems enhancements that will enable each Business Segment to achieve strategic intents and support the key performance indicators of Stax. The leader of this team will need to feel comfortable both facilitating and solving complex strategic problems as Stax strives to Operate Differently in the payments industry.

Leadership & Strategy
- Provides program leadership on complex, cross-functional initiatives involving significant investment, ensuring alignment with business objectives and optimal ROI.
- Collaborates with senior leadership to identify and prioritize transformational opportunities with high organizational impact.
- Champions a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, fostering a proactive approach to identifying and addressing business challenges.
- Develops and implements a comprehensive roadmap for business transformation, outlining key milestones, deliverables, and success metrics.
- Leads the design and implementation of standardized processes to enhance operational efficiency, transparency, and scalability for a growing and innovative payments company.
- Drives the adoption of best practices and methodologies in project management, business analysis, and system administration for all departments.
- Ensures effective resource allocation and utilization within the Business Transformation team to maximize productivity and impact.
- Monitors and analyzes key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and promote a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Effectively communicates the vision, strategy, and progress of business transformation initiatives to ensure alignment and buy-in at all levels of the organization
- Serves as a trusted advisor and thought leader, providing expert guidance and support on complex business challenges with an opportunity to work directly with the Executives.
- Oversees the implementation and optimization of systems and technologies that support business transformation initiatives.
- Ensures alignment between technology solutions and business needs, maximizing the value of technology investments.
- Leads, mentors, and develops a high-performing team of Program Managers, Business Analysts, and System Administrators.
- Provides clear direction, sets challenging goals, and empowers team members to achieve their full potential.
- Fosters a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team including championing professional development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and expertise.
- Bachelors Degree (Business, Management, Finance, IT, Organizational Development)
- Advanced Learning in the form of Six Sigma, PMP, and/or MBA
Travel Requirements: 15% travel
Knowledge And Skills
- 10 years of project management, process improvement and/or leadership experience
- Strong analytical, diagnostic and problem solving skills with an emphasis of applying those skills in a SaaS technology and Payments Technology space.
- Experience leading portfolios, delivering training, providing mentoring and coaching
- Ability to drive results, exhibit business acumen, have proven analytical and problem solving skills, and demonstrated effective interpersonal ability to influence.
- Ability to interface and influence C-Suite Executive leadership
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written/oral communication skills
- Self motivated with the ability to be flexible in shifting priorities
- Ability to work independently under time constraints in a fast paced dynamic environment with a positive professional attitude.
