Conduct the day-to-day sales and market activity in order to drive maximum revenue, through account management, new business and prospecting while building awareness of hotel and brand in the local community.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform 60% outside sales calls to develop leads.
- Soliciting and cultivating account leads from group meeting/event planners and decision makers. Develop sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed room night and revenue goals.
- Represent the property with prospective customers to provide necessary information on facilities and services and to determine levels of interest.
- Respond to customer inquiries, RFPs, and leads in an efficient and expeditious manner.
- Manage and negotiate account details and contracts so all pertinent aspects of solicitation and closing are complete and documented.
- Maintain the appropriate contact and follow up to manage the sales process to a definitive decision.
- Schedule flexibility to ensure availability during prime selling times and hotel demands
- Timely follow-up on sales leads and follow-up with clients
- Full understanding of market segmentation, yield and inventory management
- Conduct weekly sales meetings with all department heads to review all upcoming business

Perform other duties as assigned. May also serve as manager on duty.
Top-level position in a mid-sized limited-service single-site hotel with a limited range of facilities. Typically, responsible for hotel revenues of less than 3 million.
Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Hotel Administration, Business Administration plus two years of prior hotel management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience required may vary based on size and complexity of operation. Must speak fluent English. Other languages preferred.
