What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guest Service Agent position at Staybridge Suites Palmdale?
We are looking for an EXPERIENCED Hotel Front Desk Agent to serve as our guests’ first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation.
Position entails performing a combination of duties mainly related, but not limited to, check-in and check-out of guests, making and canceling reservations, handling cashiering and billing methods of guests, tending to any guest concerns and needs with an always cheerful and helpful attitude, and helping the Kitchen and Housekeeping departments in a pleasant, professional, and efficient manner to contribute to an overall positive guest experience and increase hotel occupancy in compliance with company policies and legal considerations.
- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
- Manage online and phone reservations
- Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
- Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
- Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
- Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
- Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
- Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Hotel Experience: 1 year (Required)
- Front Desk: 1 year (Required)
