House Supervisor, RN – Med Surg – Full Time (Night Shift)
Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital is a Critical Access Hospital, stand-alone, not-for-profit hospital located in Ste. Genevieve, MO, that focuses on personalized care. What To Expect As a House Supervisor
- Evaluate censes and activity in all inpatient and outpatient areas (OB/Med Surg/ED/Outpatient).
- Evaluate and assist team leaders, nurse aides, and unit clerks with care of ANC as needed.
- Serve as Code Blue resource.
- Collaborate with Case Management and Physicians to facilitate efficient patient care and flow throughout the hospital departments.
- Evaluate swing bed referrals from other facilities.
- Assist with staff relief for breaks, meals, and continuing education.
- Obtain meds from Pharmacy.
- Perform safety audits.
- Encourage team work and foster positive work environment.
- Average nurse patient ratio 1:5.
- Current Missouri RN license.
- BSN preferred.
- Previous Med Surg (1 year preferred) or related experience desired.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Previous EMR (Electronic Medical Record) experience required.
