Cleaning Crew Member (Contract)

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring that all spaces are hygienic and welcoming. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This is a 1099 contract position.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to maintain hygiene standards.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in accordance with company policies.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing improvement.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
• Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties, including lifting and moving items as necessary.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors effectively.
• Requires ability to lift up to 20lbs.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
