Position Overview :
We are seeking a visionary Head of Engineering - Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with eagerness in drones and autonomous vehicles to lead our technological initiatives and solidify our position as a market leader in AI surveillance. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of both hardware and software development, regulatory environments, and the unique challenges of the aerospace and transportation industries.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Strategic Leadership :
Develop and execute the company’s technology strategy in alignment with business goals.Collaborate with the executive team to ensure technology drives innovation and creates a competitive advantage.2. Technology Development :
Oversee the design, development, and deployment of drone and autonomous vehicle technologies.Ensure products meet safety, regulatory, and industry standards while maintaining high performance.3. Team Management :
Build and lead a multidisciplinary technical team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Mentor and develop team members, encouraging professional growth and skill enhancement.4. Research & Development :
Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in drone and autonomous vehicle technologies; drive R&D efforts to integrate new technologies into products.Collaborate with academic institutions, industry partners, and government agencies to advance technology and foster innovation.5. Project Management :
Oversee multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery, effective resource allocation, and adherence to budgets.Implement best practices in project management, utilizing agile methodologies to enhance efficiency.6. Compliance and Safety :
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards in the drone and autonomous vehicle sectors.Advocate for and implement industry-leading safety protocols in product development and operational practices.Qualifications :
Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field; Ph.D. is a plus.10 years of experience in technology leadership roles, with significant experience in drones, autonomous vehicles, or related fields.Proven track record of successfully bringing innovative technology products to market.Strong understanding of software development (AI, machine learning, computer vision) and hardware integration.Experience with regulatory frameworks governing drones and autonomous technologies.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset.Why Join Us?
