What are the responsibilities and job description for the Respiratory Therapist - LTAC *54/hr position at Stealth Care Staffing?
Stealth Care Staffing is currently seeking qualified Respiratory Therapists (RTs) within an Acute Long Term Care Hospital in the Kalamazoo, Michigan area for PRN (7a-7p)! Ability to float to nearby facility in Grand Rapids perferred.
Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist:
- Evaluating patient and recommends a treatment plan
- Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions
- Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes/ trachs
- Performing timely and accurate documentation
- Promoting continuous quality improvement
- Teaching and counseling patients/families
Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist:
- Must hold current state license and be registered or certified (RT/CRT)
- NRBC
- Current in BLS, ACLS
- Ventilators, ABG, and EKG Experience
Required Experience:
- Experience as an RT working within a hospital setting preferred
- 2 years of Acute Care Experience Required
