Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience as a CNC Operator and Setup Technician, with a strong proficiency in reading and interpreting GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and CNC programs. The role involves operating and setting Conventional and CNC machines, particularly Haas and DMG Mori, ensuring the production of high-precision parts in compliance with engineering specifications.

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience as a CNC Operator and Setup Technician, with a strong proficiency in reading and interpreting GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and CNC programs. The role involves operating and setting Conventional and CNC machines, particularly Haas and DMG Mori, ensuring the production of high-precision parts in compliance with engineering specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines (primarily Haas and DMG Mori) to produce complex, high-precision components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications, applying GD&T to ensure correct machining.
- Create and modify CNC programs as required, optimizing code for efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Conduct tool changes, offsets, and other adjustments as needed to maintain part accuracy and quality.
- Perform regular machine maintenance and ensure proper functioning of equipment.
- Inspect and measure finished parts using various precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.) to ensure they meet specifications.
- Work closely with engineering and quality control teams to resolve any production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure production deadlines and quality standards are met.
- 5-7 years of experience as a CNC Machinist, with a focus on machine setup and operation.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming, including the ability to create and modify programs for CNC machines.
- Experience with Haas and DMG Mori CNC machines is preferred.
- Familiarity with various measuring tools and techniques for inspecting parts.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with CNC equipment.
- Solid understanding of machining processes, including turning, milling, and grinding.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality, precise parts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring efficient workflow and high productivity.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues across various departments.
