What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Executive position at Stealth Startup?
We are a venture-backed stealth startup building a new category in product personalization. Our platform empowers merchants of all sizes to offer personalized experiences directly to their customers. Backed by top VCs, our small team has already signed over $5M in revenue, and we’re now looking for an Account Executive (employee #8) to help us grow and scale.
What you’ll do
As an Account Executive, you will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals. You’ll work closely with prospective merchants to understand their business needs, present tailored solutions, and guide them through the buying process. You’ll collaborate with marketing, product, and merchant success teams to create a seamless experience that drives adoption and long-term success for our customers.
Your responsibilities :
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline by sourcing new leads through outbound efforts, inbound inquiries, and referrals.
- Conduct discovery calls to understand prospective merchants’ goals, challenges, and needs.
- Present tailored product demos and proposals that clearly articulate the value of our platform.
- Negotiate contract terms and close deals to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Partner with the merchant success team to ensure smooth onboarding and handoff for new customers.
- Continuously refine the sales process by identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing best practices.
- Track all sales activities and performance metrics in a CRM to ensure visibility and accountability.
