We are seeking an experienced and motivated Real Estate Attorney with a focus on landlord-tenant law to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of real estate transactions and landlord-tenant disputes, including evictions, lease drafting, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise and represent clients on landlord-tenant matters, including lease agreements, evictions, security deposit disputes, and fair housing compliance.
- Handle real estate transactions, including sales, acquisitions, financing, and lease negotiations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and residential lease agreements.
- Represent clients in court for landlord-tenant disputes, including summary process hearings and appeals.
- Provide guidance on local, state, and federal landlord-tenant laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in Connecticut and in good standing with the bar.
- 3 years of experience in real estate law with a focus on landlord-tenant matters.
- Strong litigation skills, including courtroom advocacy and negotiation.
